Used in the preparation of marinades, preserves and beverages, to add an acidic flavour to food and to create an acidic environment.<br \/>\nCitric acid can be used to acidify juices and broths, and also has a preservative effect.<br \/>\nUse: Calculate 0.5-1.5 teaspoons of citric acid per kg of product. Dissolve the powder beforehand in a little hot water, juice or stock.
