Sumahh, or the dried and ground berries of the vinegar tree, is a deep red coloured grainy powder used to flavour foods in the Middle East.
Sumahh gives a nice sour flavour and is good on yoghurt sauce, meat dishes, couscous, rice dishes or salads.
Also good just to shake on a sandwich.
