Hondashi (Dashi), or tuna broth concentrate, is used to make broth for many delicious Japanese soups - noodle soup, miso soup, etc.
Dashi is also added to the batter of, for example, Japanese pancake omelettes (okonomiyaki).
(Okonomiyaki - nutritious pancakes rich in seafood, meat, vegetables and properly seasoned).
Preparation: mix 10g of dashi with 2l of water. Add miso paste and prepare miso soup.
Salt content in broth 1,2%.
