This sauce is traditionally served with meat skewers, or as a vegetarian variation with fried tofu or vegetables. It also goes well with roast pork or turkey or simply as a dipping sauce.
A quick and tasty Asian dish is, for example, broccoli and smoked tofu in satay sauce served with basmati rice. Delicious!
