Citric acid (E330) is a chemically water-soluble, colourless, crystalline, environmentally friendly substance.
Acidity regulator and preservative. Used in the preparation of marinades, preserves and beverages, to add an acidic flavour to food and to create an acidic environment.
Citric acid can be used to acidify juices and broths, and also has a preservative effect.
Use: Calculate 0.5-1.5 teaspoons of citric acid per kg of product. Dissolve the powder beforehand in a little hot water, juice or stock. Then mix the solution into the rest of the juice or stock.
