In perfumery - Orris root is prized for its delicate, violet scent and powdery aroma. It is used in luxury perfumes and fragrance blends, especially as a fixative to make fragrances last longer.
Cosmetics - Powdered orris root is a popular natural fragrance and moisture-wicking ingredient in baby powders, toothpastes and face powders.
