Maltodextrin is an easily digestible substance produced from starch, which absorbs glucose quickly, stores flavours and aromas well, and on its own has a slightly sweet or mild taste.
Widely used by athletes, in energy drinks, food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in the production of beer, etc.
Uses: as a thickener, for binding fats into powder or gel, in artificial sweeteners, etc.
How to use: mix the maltodextrin with the desired fat, and a gel or powder is formed (which can also be used to make shapes, baked, at room temperature the shapes keep for about 1 day, in the fridge longer).
Consumption standard: the quantity depends on the type of fat and the degree of thickening desired, mostly between 30-45%, for fat pulverisation 45-60% .
Ingredients: maltodextrin (corn).
