Description

Meat tenderizer is a powder made from natural papaya fruit extract (papain) used in the preparation of meat products.
It is particularly suitable for use with game and beef, but also sheep and pork. Not suitable for poultry meat!
The meat is rubbed together with a meat tenderizer and left to stand for up to 1 day (depending on the tenderness of the meat - less for pork, but more for game).
It is advisable (due to the high salt content) to wash the meat after the softening process and then season to taste.
Next, the meat can be boiled, grilled, fried, etc. In the case of bone-in meat, the meat tenderiser results in meat that comes off the bone more easily.

Consumption standard: 15-20g per 1 kg. Ingredients: cooking salt (92%), flavour enhancer E621, papain, E330.
