This tea from the eastern Fujian province of China is carefully processed by hand and according to tradition by skilled tea experts. The leaves are twisted into pearls and have a brilliant anthracite colour, which is why they are also known as “black pearls”. Medium dark in colour, the bouquet is aromatic and rounded.

It is characterised by its spiciness: a generous portion of sweet apple pieces masterfully complements sweet cinnamon pieces, spicy coriander, cardamom, cloves and hot, fruity pepper.
