This tea from the eastern Fujian province of China is carefully processed by hand and according to tradition by skilled tea experts. The leaves are twisted into pearls and have a brilliant anthracite colour, which is why they are also known as “black pearls”. Medium dark in colour, the bouquet is aromatic and rounded.
This flavoured black tea is the perfect companion not only during the Christmas season. It is characterised by its spiciness: a generous portion of sweet apple pieces masterfully complements sweet cinnamon pieces, spicy coriander, cardamom, cloves and hot, fruity pepper. Aromas of juicy oranges and delicate zest complement this unique taste experience.
